Melon pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Melon is allowed to say
The honest read on melon: 10 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A melon pod kit from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT3.1 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon pod kit really costs in Maputo
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested melon in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.1 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT56 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.1 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
