Melon nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Melon in Maputo: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with melon in Mozambique
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at melon in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
Melon in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested melon in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.1 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Is melon legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.1 per 10 ml liquid plus MT35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
