Dessert cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What dessert costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Dessert in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested dessert in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.24 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for dessert in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT34 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.24 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.24 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
