Melon cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Melon in Maputo: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What melon costs in Maputo
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.66 per 10 ml.
Melon cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: melon in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon cartomizer really costs in Maputo
A melon cartomizer from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
How long does melon in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
