Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
Coconut cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Coconut in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
