Mango pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Mango in Maputo: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
If you are looking at mango in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango pen device really costs in Maputo
We run mango the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mango in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mango goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is mango legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does mango taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the mango blend itself harsh.
