Lime refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Lime in Maputo: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Lime in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Lime in Maputo reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: lime in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime refill pack really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested lime in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.15 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lime in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.15 per 10 ml liquid plus MT66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
How long does lime in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
