Licorice starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the licorice habit
Licorice starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.87 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT63 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.87 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does licorice in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
