Licorice RDA IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A licorice RDA from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice RDA really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at licorice in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested licorice in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
