Fig cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Fig cartomizer here
If you are looking at fig in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A fig cartomizer from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT3.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does fig in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.17 per 10 ml liquid plus MT67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
