The short version: licorice in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.0 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.0 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.0 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does licorice in a disposable vape last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
