Lemon cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit
A lemon cartomizer from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lemon cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested lemon in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.03 per 10 ml.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
