Lemon 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for lemon
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A lemon 30 ml shortfill from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT1.83 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Lemon in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lemon in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for lemon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
