Plum 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for plum
If you are looking at plum in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum 30 ml shortfill really costs in Maputo
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.99 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.99 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
