Iced zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Iced in Maputo: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in Mozambique
The honest read on iced: 15 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
A iced zero-nicotine bottle from the compared options in Mozambique costs about MT2.82 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
