Iced sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.46 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same sub-ohm kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.46 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |

| Entry kit | MT41 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.46 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does iced in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.46 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
