Iced squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Iced squonk mod here
A iced squonk mod from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The honest read on iced: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: iced in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.05 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
