Iced refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What iced costs in Maputo
If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.28 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced refill pack really costs in Maputo
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
