Iced RDA IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Iced in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.93 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced RDA really costs in Maputo
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT35 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.93 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.93 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus MT35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
