Plum mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Mozambique
Plum in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run plum the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at plum in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
