Iced pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a pod kit for iced
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced pod kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested iced in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
