Sweet box mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a box mod for sweet
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet box mod really costs in Maputo
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sweet in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.63 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sweet in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.63 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
