Home / Iced box mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist

How we tested Iced box mod here

We run iced the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

If you are looking at iced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.

If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a iced box mod really costs in Maputo

Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

How we tested iced in a box mod

1. Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
• Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.

Where iced goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.23 per 10 ml.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.

The rules that apply here

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
