Coconut mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
Coconut in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A coconut mesh tank from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT1.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.81 per 10 ml.
How we tested coconut in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
