Honey squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Honey in Maputo: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Honey squonk mod here
We run honey the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.84 per 10 ml.
How we tested honey in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where honey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in Maputo survives.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
