Sweet squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Sweet in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Entry kit | MT45 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.01 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does sweet in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.01 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
