Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run honey the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: honey in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
We run honey the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested honey in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where honey goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.08 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.08 per 10 ml liquid plus MT41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does honey in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
