Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What plain costs in Maputo
A plain prefilled pod from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
The honest read on plain: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
