Honey 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Honey in Maputo: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run honey the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
The honest read on honey: 18 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where honey goes wrong
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does honey in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On honey the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.01 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
