Herbal vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Herbal in Maputo: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A herbal vape pen from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT3.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal vape pen really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at herbal in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested herbal in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Maputo survives.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is herbal legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
