Cream pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with cream in Mozambique
The honest read on cream: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run cream the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: cream in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream pod kit really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cream in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where cream goes wrong
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cream in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Cream | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | pod kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 13 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT35 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.99 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.99 per 10 ml liquid plus MT35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
