Herbal RDA IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Herbal in Maputo: 23 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the herbal habit
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Herbal RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: herbal in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal RDA really costs in Maputo
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.23 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.23 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why herbal tastes flat after two days.
