Guava zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Guava in Maputo: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Guava in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A guava zero-nicotine bottle from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested guava in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
