Guava vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Guava vape pen here
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on guava: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava vape pen really costs in Maputo
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for guava in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is guava legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.8 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
