Citrus refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Citrus in Maputo: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus in Maputo reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at citrus in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: citrus in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus refill pack really costs in Maputo
The honest read on citrus: 16 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.44 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
