Guava pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Guava pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on guava: 13 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava pod kit really costs in Maputo
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.45 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
