Guava pen device IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run guava the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava pen device really costs in Maputo
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.52 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for guava in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Guava | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | pen device | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 11 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT60 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.52 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.52 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
