Guava mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Maputo: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Guava mesh tank here
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: guava in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in Maputo
The honest read on guava: 16 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT47 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.1 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
