Tobacco pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Tobacco pod kit here
The honest read on tobacco: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco pod kit really costs in Maputo
We run tobacco the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

In Maputo we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.99 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
