Graphite vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a vape pen for graphite
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.88 per 10 ml.
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite vape pen really costs in Maputo
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
