Graphite starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
If you are looking at graphite in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Graphite in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite starter kit really costs in Maputo
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.65 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does graphite in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is graphite legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
