Graphite starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What graphite costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on graphite: 8 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite starter kit really costs in Maputo
Graphite in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested graphite in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Graphite | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | starter kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 8 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |

| Entry kit | MT67 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.0 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
