Graphite RDA IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Graphite RDA here
We run graphite the same way in Maputo: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Graphite in Maputo reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long graphite tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a graphite RDA really costs in Maputo
Graphite in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested graphite in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.07 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.07 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
