Graphite box mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Graphite box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at graphite in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite box mod really costs in Maputo
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.14 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How long does graphite in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.14 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
