Graphite box mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Graphite in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A graphite box mod from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT3.21 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite box mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at graphite in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested graphite in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.21 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why graphite tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for graphite in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.21 per 10 ml liquid plus MT62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
