Grapey vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What grapey costs in Maputo
A grapey vape pen from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Grapey vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey vape pen really costs in Maputo
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.44 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
