Grapey starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
If you are looking at grapey in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey starter kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at grapey in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested grapey in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.04 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
