Grapey refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on grapey: 9 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at grapey in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: grapey in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey refill pack really costs in Maputo
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested grapey in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.34 per 10 ml liquid plus MT29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is grapey legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
