Grapey pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
A grapey pen device from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT2.36 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.36 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey pen device really costs in Maputo
Grapey pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested grapey in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.36 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
