Grapey mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
The honest read on grapey: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run grapey the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Grapey in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested grapey in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.35 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does grapey in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
